Flat-Coated Retriever puppies

I'm taking care of four 8 week old Flat-coat puppies for the week. They're pretty fun for the most part, except when they're digging holes in the yard and waking me up at 5am, haha. I was only supposed to have one originally, then that got changed to two, and when I showed up Fri night all of a sudden there were four. The rest of the litter have already gone to their new homes, though. The breeder is keeping two (liver girl and the liver boy), and the other two girls left will be headed to their homes after the breeder gets back home. Anyhow, here are a bunch of pictures I took yesterday!

They are so cute! My parents friends own Flatties. The first one I ever met was a black male named Bert. I knew him since I was 9 and he was my constant shadow and playmate. He passed away two years ago .

Thanks! Sometimes it gets a little much, taking care of other peoples' dogs all the time and not being at home, but I do love it!

Sorry to hear about Bert. He sounds like he was a really nice dog. Flatcoats are awesome! I really enjoy hanging around with them. I just wish they were a bit smaller... then they'd be about perfect!
