So this is a bit of a rant....

Duke has some issues with aggression and more so with severe leash aggression. While he is in his fits I can control him meaning Im not being pulled by him and he doesnt get near the dog he is after. Anyways because of this Im always on the look for a trainer (Ive been to about 4 already) and email alot just to see there what there training ways would be for dealing with him. I emailed this one trainer that someone recommend to me and said she has 3 belgian malonois (sp?). I have a dutch shepard/cattle dog so I figured we would be on omewhat the same page breed wise with where I was coming from. Anyways I told her about Duke said he was leash aggressive, selective when off (which is why he is never in direct range of any dog offleash because of this), at night he sometimes barks and lunges at people from afar if they are running and even just kinda creepin me out. Her website said she did privates for people who have aggressive dogs and dogs that needed extreame behavior modification. This is exactly what I need with Duke. So the responce I got was not exactly what I was expecting and really p*ssed me off.
This is what it was

This is a serious issue. The two breeds that comprise your dog are extremely head strong and aggressive. I think you should contact (She recommened someone here) would advise target and distraction work - but you have tried that - so he might have some other ideas. In the mean time, I absolutely advocate muzzling him when taking him for a walk. It sounds like he is a huge liability and safety concern for (possibly) you and definitely the neighborhood dogs - it is not fair for your community and opens you up for lawsuits.

I dont know why I got so pissed. I think it was that shes making an assumption because of what is written on paper. Shes the one telling me she can help on her website and deals with these types of issues. Wouldnt as a trainer you meet before assuming this BS. Firstly my dog is no safety concern for myself. And my community. He is always leashed and has never caused and saftey concerns. The nerve of some people. Sorry I might sound crazy for getting so worked up about this and if anyone actually reads this whole thing sorry for it being so long.

If she assessed your dog because of what you WROTE, she's not much of a trainer.
Thats why I think I got kinda annoyed by it. My biggest thing was don't state on your site you deal with these kinds of issues and then when one is presented to you, you respond like that.
