I am going to ask this question for the third time as it keeps getting OVERLOOKED  !

WHY CAN'T YOUR GSD BE RETURNED TO THE ORIGINAL BREEDER?!?!?!?!

And then maybe you can get him back when you are able :(
My guess,The original breeder would not give her another dog or pay 1800 for this dog? Remember she said she needs to have another dog, so she either gets a trade for this one, or money to buy a new one.

What I don't understand is if your boyfriend has the means to care for a big dog like a rottweiler, why can't he care for your German shepherd? You said he doesn't like the breed. Okay. But can't he TEMPORARILY care for the dog? You love the dog, right? Doesn't that matter to him? That you have to give up a dog you love when he has the means to keep it?
Or does he?

It probably doesn't matter to him, that's the problem.

Wow! This sure did spiral out of control. I am sorry Ambersway that I mentioned you were a poster on Chaz but if you look at my posts I stated that we shouldn't draw conclusions as you may have some circumstances we didn't know about.

I sure hope you are able to find a new home for you GSD, a very beautiful dog like that deserves a great home. I wish I had that kind of money to throw around. I would snap her up in a heartbeat!

It is not my BF asking me to find him a dog in trade.I did it since I Know he is looking. He would take my dog temporarily but temporary wont solve anything.Yes The breeder will take him back but he is old school and will beat my dog for his male agression.I am not willing to let that happen to him.I would be quite happy to sell him and put money away for something when I am out of here. Not everybody has money and some people are looking for bigger whil I am looking for smaller.I am hopping to sell him instead of trade but...

Ambersway used to be GermanShepherdGurl.
With the circumstances she really should learn from her mistakes.......
not keep making them over and over again. I think everyone here is just trying to "help her" not make the same mistake again with another dog.
How responsible is it to go thru dogs like shoes?

If you are in such a situation........... *why don't you have a job?*
You can make alot more than 460 a month working at minimum wage. And you should keep ontop of childsupport for your daughter. Even if it is in arrears make sure "everyone" knows what he owes you to support his daughter. Have him locked up for nonpayment.........if that is the situation.

Heather aka Yukaduck wants him for her breeding program. She has a female in heat right now.So my issues should be all cleared up soon.
This would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Isn't your male <gasp> showlines? And isn't Heather a breeder of "quality working German shepherds"? Do you really think this is the best life for him?

I hope this is a ploy to get "back at us all" because you admitted she was a liar and a byb to us on chat one night.

You said you knew all about her .......etc etc etc.

I can't believe you would allow your dog to be staked on a logging chain like hers are.

What happened to the welfare of the dog being important?

:( :( :(

Your dog would be better off going to a random pet home. What makes you think Heather will keep him? And she HAS a male GSD who, if I remember correctly, isn't fond of other male dogs. How is that going to work out unless she keeps them both chained up, away from each other all the time? Not that there is anything wrong with separating dogs, but why would you sell him to someone who would chain him, breed him to any and every female she has, and not give him the attention he deserves?

:(

Ambersway, where is you mom or dad? Any family? Can someone in your family help you at all? I'm just asking because you haven't mentioned anyone else but your BF and your abusive ex-BF.

Quote from this other add

Will trade him for 2 Female Chihuahua's Puppies or unfixed adults
You must want to breed these dogs, otherwise why would you want
two females both unfixed. There would be no issue with them being
fixed unless you wanted be a breeder, a byb breeder at that because
you did not indicate they needed to be registered.
