Driving along I-70 in Illinois, right about Effingham, you come around this curve in the road that was surrounded by trees and suddenly WHAM, you see this. It's about 100 feet tall as best I can guess. They light it up at night.

This was a "drive-by" shot so I was happy it came out:

In Shipshewana, IN, there is a large Amish population and yes, they really do still use horse and buggies. It was pouring rain, thundering and lightening everywhere and these guys were just standing there going "Weather sucks today, doesn't it?" "Ayup."

They put those crosses up down here, too, Zoom. There's one at the exit for Oneida, Tennessee on I-75 near the TN/KY border. It stands right in front of one of those huge truck stop/porn shops . . . :D

There was another one along I-75 in Anderson County, but the idiots put it up within the state highway right-of-way and had to take it down because if it fell it would block both southbound lanes

That is a nice bunch of random shots, lol!

LOL! Sawyer on his back is hilarious. And wow, Groucho is well behaved at the vet. My cats have their ears pinned back and sulk pitifully as soon as they hit the table.

Yeah, that's how he was sleeping that morning. He didn't even wake up (or at least move) when I got up to get the camera. I'm actually standing over him on the bed to get that shot.
