A big tree fell down with a big eagle's nest in it the other day. There were 49 cat collars discovered amongst the nest debris. This really amazed me,natures way I guess.
Wow. Checks and balances at work. If each one of those wandering kitties had a nest I wonder how many robin and sparrow collars they would have in them.
And you have to figure if the nest was about 30 yrs. old,how many ferrell cats were harvested.I know when there was an explosion of ferrell cats we lost all our grouse, quail, pheasant and alot of the song birds.
I believe it .... my Mother had a story of an eagle trying to swoop up her baby cousin from a blanket when picnicking .....it was swooping down with talons open when they scared it away . She was about 5 and remembered it the rest of her life .
Hehe, that is actually funny, even if it isn't LOL.
My uncle lives on a farm and they were having a fire one evening last summer. There was a bunch of people sitting around and all of a sudden.....bam....a little kitty fell from the sky!!! My aunt being herself picked the poor 4 week old kitten up and nursed it back to health. How it lived from falling out of the sky we aren't sure plus it was clawed all to he!!. She still has the cat.
