This last few days Duke has just been full of surprises. Two days ago I was running late for agility and driving just alittle to fast (80 in a 50 zone) needless to say I got nailed by rader. Anyways Duke is not a dog that let's anyone near the car. He makes the biggest sence even when someone pulls up next to us in there own car. So I get pulled over thing as the cop comes near I gonna have to muzzle Duke. Nope not this day. Duke starts to get all excitied as starts licking the cops hand and getting lots of love from him. Cop comes back and let's me go with only 15 over. Thank you Duke for that one. Then yesterday I took him out for a nice run in the woods with a friend and her dog which Duke has never meet. Since he is leash aggressive and very sdelective off leash I was not to sure how he would be. After a grumble he was walking beside my friends dog with no issues and then ran and played with the dog for over an hour and just such a good boy. Days like these I really feel like all the training I've done with him is finally working. Fingers crossed for a lot more good days.
