do you dress up your dogs?

Ruckus has three bandanas. i like how bandanas look on dogs and Ruckus looks good in them. his bandanas are

- black with white skull and cross bones
- green camo
- black with white bones, and paw prints
i am definally getting him more as i see more i like. i want him to have seven, one for each day of the week.

when i go on my ski trip in january Ruckus will have snow boots and a doggy ski jacket because this is his first winter. he has never seen snow or had the opertunity to get cold!

Nope...my dog would disown me if I dressed him up. He does have a jacket and a t-shirt though because he's old and ill and needs to be kept warm in cold weather. I did buy him a superman bandana but it looked stupid so I've never put it on him since.

Sorry not a fan of dressing dogs up at all, honestly. Although I don't mind the 'once in a while on a special occasion' type costume (xmas, st. patricks day, halloween etc...).

Cass.

my dogs have sweaters and winter coats, plus costumes for holidays.

luce is a big freaking weenie so she needs clothes in the winter or else she just hunches up and shivers and teeth chatters when i take her out. it's hard being a naked dog.

I need to get Zeus a coat. He gets cold so easily and just shivers and gives me pathetic looks.

My old golden retriever used to wear bandanas all the time. She just looked so cute in them!

I had some shirts for the girls, but they are not too into them so they really never wear them... they both have warm fido fleece jackets for the winter though... I reccomend them to anyone looking for a warm coat... they come in very large sizes as well... my dogs wear a 8 and 10 and I believe them come up to 38 or 40.

My dogs have a huge wardrobe. Dresses, skirts, pants, tees, tanks, jewelery, Coats, Rainjackets, Boots, ect ect ect.. .lol

It's silly and fun to dress them up but I only generally dress them when it's cold out or we're going somewhere. I never leave their clothes on them in the house :)

Yep, me too! I love purses as well, though ;)

I'm also weird about matching my chis' collars... they have to have matching collars on... I buy them in sets of three (different colors of course).

Must just be the male part of me, other than the reflective collar compliments of Smkie, Bluedawg has never had more than a plain black collar. I used a similar reflective collar, likewise compliments of Smkie, to fit Verde to her plain but wider black collar.

My one dog was shaved due to having to cut out burs and she looked fully with big chunks missing so she wears a rain coat and/or a sweater now that its cold.

Meg only gets dressed up for warmth reasons. She is very short-haired, and a transplant from the South, so Vermont winters really aren't her thing! She has three different coats of various warmths, and I layer them when it gets really cold. Since she is generally outside for 5-7 hours a day, they are kind of a necessity!

I do think she wishes she had a little girl who would play dress-up with her;) I can see her in a doll's dress, sitting around the table for a tea party!
