How old will she be at that time ??? You will need potty stops and will have to make sure they aren't in rest stops where other dogs have gone.

I wouldnt take her. its going to be hard enough on her getting used to your home. Why did you schedual your vacation when you are getting a puppy?

I'd leave her with the breeder until you get back. between 6 and 8 weeks is a huge amount !!! I fault any breeder allowing you to take a pup under the circumstances. Don't you know when the pup was whelped ?

don't take her and wait until you get home. i think it's too much of a risk for the puppy.

Also, I read at eight weeks they go through a period where they can get startled and scared easily. If at all possible, I wouldn't take your furry baby with you. I wouldn't even take a human baby at that age if at all possible. I always think of it this way. Could I handle the guilt if something happened that I could avoid.

because they asked for even more for her and i looked for another breeder and they aske for too much and i just dont have the money...maybe im better off because if i got her now i would have to take her with me and everyone is telling me i shouldnt take her and now i finally got the chance and its gone...

i hope you realize peopel are telling you to wait on getting your dog because they care. They are saying wait because the vacation could be traumatizing to your puppy because he won't know where "home" is, or he could catch an illness that he's not vaccinated against yet. Or there could be an accident even with your best ability to guard...

As for the possibility of your breeder changing the price - maybe that's a good indicator that you shouldn't be getting a puppy from that person? I would think a breeder would know their set price on the puppies they are selling prior to agreeing with you on a price. You may want to get everything in writing from now on if you continue to deal with this breeder.

That really sucks. But maybe your not ment to get her now. Sometimes you have to wait for the perfect dog. I had to wait 19yrs for emma

dont worry...for one im a firm beliver of the puppy thats ment to be with you will find you...

for 2, i personally wouldnt buy from this breeder, iv have yet to meet an ethical breeder who relases their puppies before 8 weeks old...and 6-8 weeks is a big difference...if the puppies only 6 weeks old it realy shoudl still be with its littermates interacting and learnign how to be a happy well adjusted puppy...
plus if the "breeder" suddenly increased the price on the puppy after giving you a set price then id be worried about it being a scam, i have also never met an ethical breeder who SUDDENLY changes their mind about how much a puppy costs, the only ime ive seen it done is with a puppy thats showing show potential in which case the breeder might keep the puppy a little longer to see how it starts to fill out, then they might charge a little more or a little less depending on how the puppy grows.

a "vacation" for such a young puppy would probbaly b way too stressfull, the first few weeks at the very least shoudl be spent in your home where its oging to grow up ad liv in a calm warm and loving environment, not in some hotel room somwhere alone and bored while your off enjoying your vacation...

id wait a little while, keep looking, the right one will come along in time!

PATIENTS is the key when it come to Anything to do with puppies!
