Man, Ronin is a.lot.of.work. I friggin love him though. More so every day. Like just now after I brushed him and removed a few of the remaining mats behind his ears he came over to my chair and laid down right next to me. Like he can't get close enough, but he's not annoying about it.

Anyway, this is the first time I've done any sort of grooming other than cutting mats and brushing hair and I finally got around to doing his paws. He had stickers inside the mats in the hair between his paws!!! :yikes:

So I felt bad but then I felt like a god as I removed them thinking about how relieving it must have felt.

Also, ear infections are a thing of the past for this dog!

Yeah... I had cockers for years. They have big fluffy paws that would pick up stickers, mud balls between the toes, and in winter sometimes little balls of ice would form.

Sounds like Ronin found himself a caring home with you :)
