Sorry, didn't know where to post this.
My brother came home one day and a dog was out the front of his house. He brought her in and called the registration number on her tag. They said her name is Bindi and called the owner to let her know Bindi was there so she could pick her up.
I was there when her owner picked her up, she said that she only recently got her from the pound. She is still a puppy, I think about 9 months old.
A couple of weeks later, one of the neighbours down the street from them found Bindi one night. He said he would take her home and look after her until the next day when he could call the number on her tag so the owner could pick her up.
Tonight, I was driving home from my parents, and Bindi was sitting on the side of the road. I stopped and she was excited, tail wagging, jumping all over me. So I brought her home and I will call the registration people and get the owner to call me so I can drop Bindi home.
My mum and brother were saying that she is always loose on the street. Mum was walking to work the other morning and she said Bindi came running up and almost bowled her over. They said she is a street dog :/ and not to worry, she will find her way home.
I don’t doubt she will find her way home, but it is poor of her owner to let her run loose on the street in the first place.
She is a really big dog, I don’t know what she is. If I didn’t know who she was, I would have kept on driving past because I would have been too scared to go near her. I am still a little scared of her. She could easily injure a kid if she jumped on them when they are walking by.
Anyway, I don’t know what to do, should I say something to the owner.
