The prick ear set is the most natural of ears for a canid. Dropped ears are a puppy trait that seems to be a side effect of domestication along with large white markings...per that fox study. Very interesting...the canine pinna!

This is interesting.

Buster has natural prick ears, I did nothing to them, he also has a natural deformed stumpy tail. I did nothing to it either. Your list does have a lot of obvious errors. Buster's a crossbred but not every dog has drop ears and a long tail. Heres a photo where you an see his natural tail and ears.

In some breeds (I'll refer to kelpies, not sure how common it is in other breeds) "broken" ears can occur, where one or both ear does not stand up, this is not unheard of but not the norm either. Moreso in working lines, havn't dseen it in show lines so nothing is changed about it.
