Do you poop in public toilets?

Ditto. If you gotta go, you gotta go. Now, I will go to some extremes to avoid using a porta-potty, but even then . . . if its necessary, well, so it is. (Though we once walked a mile from the national mall so we could use the toilets in my office rather than the porta pottys there . . . ). But hey . . . stinky portas with long lines or nice, sparkling clean private toilets with no wait!

Yeah I especially try to avoid porta potties on a hot day :yikes: that's a unique scent right there lol

I only use public toilettes as a last resort no matter WHAT number I need to disperse. I'll hold it if at all possible........ESPECIALLY for number two! LOL

It has ZERO to do with being embarrassed and everything to do with GERMS! Not just from whoever had their cheeks on the seat before me, but also germs all over the restroom from the doors to the faucets. *shivers*

but you wash your hands after don't you? so wouldn't that take care of the germs? lol

I actually saw an interesting article one time that the bottom of most womens purses have more germs and bacteria and nasty stuff than most public restrooms. people set them on the floor (including in the bathroom), on tables, chairs, on the ground outside, you name it. figure all the things that fabric picks up and holds onto lol. and knowing that... I still set it on the table soemtimes LOL

ETA: I will go on a plane or a bus but if I don't really HAVE to I won't. they are so small. I barely have room to turn around let alone spread out and get comfy to do my business LOL

I am like the opposite of a germ-a-phobe. I mean, I'm not dirty, but I am conscious of what I do/dont touch, so most of the time a handwash does the trick. i like to think the germs I pick up on my purse (i do hate when there isn't a hook!) just go to strengthen my immune system. Honestly, *most* germs that are hanging around aren't gonna kill ya.

I don't use public restrooms unless it's a code red emergency. I really just don't want my butt tainted with the germs of a thousand other butts.

I don't like pooping period, let alone away from home. So I don't, no. But conveniently enough, I just never have to.

As for peeing... well, I tried for a long time not to do it in public, because, well, ew, but I have the worlds smallest bladder, so short of running out into the woods and taking my pants off to squat (because I can't squat like a normal person - but that's another story!), I NEED to pee in public places... or never leave my house again.

I make fun of my sisters husband all the time. He can't go to the bathroom anywhere but at his home. Its reminds me of "American Pie" the way he panics and bolts for the car when he really has to go :rofl1:.

I don't use public bathrooms, period. Unless I'm like, going to die if I don't go. It just grosses me out because for some reason, people manage to completely trash the bathrooms.

My brother-in-law LOVES pooping in public lol. You should hear him talk about it, it's like his favorite activity. He loves it even more if the other people KNOW he's pooping... so weird. :rofl1:

I will go just about anywhere if I need to. Typically I don't, so if I feel the urge I know I NEED to go. The only place I try to avoid is portapottys. And there its not so much that its gross, I just can't handle the size of them and I start to feel closed in. Small places and I don't get along very well.

I had to pee today when I was out at the stables. In almost 4 years I've never had to use the bathroom there. I go in...and there's a window RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TOILET! WITH NO CURTAIN! I still had to pee, so I peed. At least it faces the pasture and not the arena

There was also a sign that said "DO NOT PUT PAPER IN TOILET!" so I'm assuming even if I wanted to I couldn't poop in that toilet. First off if toilet paper won't go down, neither will poop. Second, even if poop DID go down, I couldn't wipe, so...

I try to hold it, to avoid using public toliets... but if I can't wait then duh I go. I have seen some nasssssty bathrooms. Turd stains on seats, dirty pad/tampons on floor, used tp on floor, unflushed turds/pee, pee on seat...


I will try another stall if the lock is broke, but if there are no locks I will still go (cause I HAVE TO) and our park only has no-door stalls, I've peed in those before. I'd die before I pooed in one, unless I was like the only person there lol. And I will use the bathroom at someone I sorta knows house, but omg I will hold it until it's an emergency. lol
