Discharge from penis

I adopted a beagle who was recently neutered in October. Everytime after he eliminates, he has a very thick, creamy discharge from his penis, which is staining all the furniture. Any idea what this discharge might be and how to get rid of it or reduce it?

My male dog used to have somewhat the same thing going on too. We just had to deal with it because we couldn't get him to stop. It seemed like it got worse though after he got...um...excited. Maybe try putting a blanket down on the couch and only letting him be on that blanket. That way you could wash the blanket and don't have to worry about him ruining the furniture.
