Sheesh..... I am silly, I belong to the forum on that link (Never saw the main page though as I had searched for a Blind dog forum), should have thought of that!!
Heheh . . . don't feel bad. Karen is, after all, one of my oldest friends here :) She was here when it all happened and we went through it right along with her. My O'Reilly - the blind Aussie - was still with me at the time.

Hi there... :)

I had an email from Renee about DaVinci. I'm so sorry that you are going through this, and if there is anything I can do please let me know. Not knowing what is going on is the hardest part, since you don't know if there is a treatment that can restore vision, or prevent more damage. If you have a local ophthalmologist in your area they can tell you so much more than a regular DVM, who normally does not have the proper equipment to do testing. When Lucy went blind I paid $125.00 to the ophthalmologist for her exam and ERG (electroretinography) to test function of the retinas. I have a list of organizations that may possibly be able to help out financially at this link on my web site: http://blinddogs.net/Financial_Assistance.pdf
