more than likely he'll be just fine. Look in the poop (great fun I know) and you'll probably see part of the bone in a day or so. I"d just look for changes, is he acting funny, tired, uneasy, trouble going to the bathroom, blood in the stool, although even if there was any bleeding it would be higher up in the GI and you won't see red blood anyway, if his abdomen gets sensitive, lots of vomiting things like that.

Otherwise just wait a few days, you probably won't notice anything and all will be well.

Cooked chicken bones can be very dangerous. You'll want to look for any changes in him. Blood in his stool, make sure he IS passing stool. Gut pain...

It might not help, but it couldn't hurt, to get food down there with the bone. To 'pad' it.

that being said, RTH is right, he'll probably be fine. More then one dog has stolen cooked bones and lived. ;)

Oh jeez... I would be freaked out, too!

For now, I would feed him a few pieces of bread. I've heard that's the best thing to do, to pad the bones.

Ill just say again what others have said. Just watch for any changes and wait. Everything has a good chance of him being fine.

Makes you feel any better. My dog ate about 24 huge cooked spicy breaded chicken wings in like 2 minutes. I was freaked but I dont know how he did it but he was fine. Stool normal activity level normal. Nothing happened to him, and this is the dog that has a very sensitive stomach.
