Renee, you should totally come out with Karma for the next commercial/film! We've already got it planned in our heads...
he is stunning and his story so touching, im glad you decided to take the chance on him, with those initial issues he might not have made it anywhere else. the angels were watching
I keep telling him it's his looks that saved him. In all seriousness, an uglier dog would have put down for those things in an overcrowded shelter like Oakland (they literally sometimes up to 5 different dogs in a kennel due to space issues... it's almost always the small dogs clumped together but still...). Because he was so little and cute, they gave him the benefit of the doubt.
"Cute" doesn't get you very far in my book, "naughty" does and, well, he's pretty naughty :rofl1:
x-dog is just, well i adore her.
id LOVE a standard xolo one day!
people dont realize, even with the cresties, thes dogs are pure muscle, ive never seen a small breed with the kind of definition xolos and cresties can get!
When she was small the bf kept looking at pics of the standards and asking me, "Is she gonna look like that? Cause those dogs are cool!" I'd have to let him down gently that she wasn't going to look nearly as regal or rocked.
But she is totally one little active muscle! it's perfect because she needs constant activity (she is thriving in her nosework classes) but is in a small enough package that it's tolerable in the city, and he is quite a bit lazier but has a great obedience drive so he can just chill at a cafe. A dog for every occasion!
