He may be a great guy, but I don't look at those muscles and think "awesome" . . . they creep me out more than anything.

Though that dog is gorgeous, he is so far out of the APBT standard it isn't even funny. Bigger doesn't mean better (in either the case of the dog OR the owner). I prefer my pits on the smaller side of normal: 35-45 pounds. Dogs that large (I'm assuming 90-100) are usually out crossings which are now commonly known as American Bullies.

And there is no reason to be afraid of a pit bull. They are a fantastic breed that is so misunderstood.

I know plenty of in shape people, but none of them have the obviously enhanced, and unecessary, muscles that he has. Moving around normally with muscles like that is the same as moving around with the same amount of fat: it is uncomfortable and un-natural.

And of course you hear more bad than good about pit bulls . . . welcome to the era of "Pit Bull Hysteria" a-la the media. Go out and meet some pit bulls. They are fantastically human loving dogs, no other breed like it in the world. Definitely not a dog to be feared.

I think it's more because that is NOT natural. Muscles like that dude has are not natural and looks freaky, scary.
