Hazel is precious! You've officially turned me on to Welshies if/when I can have a dog in my life :D
Yes! Everyone needs to get all of the Welshies.

She is a heathen. Lots less biting than Watson, which is nice, but she wanders around chewing on everything she can find (the stone fireplace, bookshelves, pillows, etc). We're going to the pet store to find more chews today because the few things I had lying around for Watson aren't enough.

Guys, I am so pleased with this puppy. She's just the pranciest sassiest little thing. I could do with a little more bladder control (oh god the peeing) but otherwise she is just awesome. And she and Watson are so good together.

I was banking on being able to visit puppies next weekend, which would've been perfect. Turns out the earliest I can would be the 18th (after they get their 1st vaccine), which is terrible timing because that's the day I close on the house, and then the plan was to obviously get working on cleaning/painting/moving etc that weekend. I don't know how I'm going to be able to pull myself away for a few hours :( The whole family is helping with the house so I can't just be like "thanks guys, you carry on, I'm just gonna take off for the day"???

Unless I could visit that Friday evening, but I don't know, I feel like I get off work so late and therefore anything "after work" seems like it's TOO late. WHAT DO. Guess I can ask.

They're so handsome, Southpaw! I love all three, but I've always been partial to the plain faces. Have you visited them yet, or are you just going to wait until pickup day to meet them? And any name ideas? I'm so excited for you!

I like double mask boy! I love full masks on the face.

I finally got it together and posted a thread on Hazel. Tomorrow is her first puppy class. Yay! We're in the Fenzi performance fundamentals class at gold level and we've been having fun with that. I think she just figured out what training is really about, since this week I started more shaping and less luring. She got so excited about going to her mat that she was jumping up and down, play bowing, and bark/growling at me. LOL She's so funny.

Watson is starting to put his foot down. He's such a door mat usually, and while he'll growl a little if she tries to take his stuff, he lets her have it if she's pushy enough. Today he actually showed some teeth when she wouldn't stop pestering him outside, and she backed off. Good Watson! He's been very gentle and appropriate with her even when she's obnoxious. I also caught them almost sleeping together this morning - she was asleep on a mat on the floor and he snuck over and laid down next to her. He's so cute.

Ooh I'm partial to the double mask male too! Or the half mask.

Less than a week until possible puppy pick-up :yikes:

I do love full mask boy. Aesthetically. :p Won't be visiting until next weekend, well assuming I can find the time to get out there. I have a name I'm tossing around but I don't know, we'll see what fits. :)

I have to say I've come to like the breed with no mask. :p

I'm bad about names too. I've been meaning to sit and make a list of the ones I come up with, so I'm not going, "don't knooooow", for ages after next puppy when any other time I have plenty. ;)

Naming is easy in my house because of my husband. For both dogs I had a huge list and when I read it off he immediately picked his favorite name and that was that. He usually comes up with some I hate too, but I like our system of me making the list and him making the final choice.

My first choice name for Hazel was Briony/Bryony which I would still like to use some day.
