Everyone has different comfort levels for sure.
I mainly mentioned that because I had a friend who wanted to have a child for SOO long and her DH kept "planning"....and coudn't get over his fear of things not being ready. It caused them lots of problems and can be a pit fall.
But just planning in general, no, not the same
Technically I planned....not financially too much beyond can we afford for me to stay at home. I researched my butt off though on pregnancy, on birthing, on raising babies and all that goes along with it.
