Meet Soot:

He is less then happy to be in my possession (I have the scratches to prove it )but I think he'll warm up to getting fed everyday :)
He's more jumpy then Squeaker and his ears seem way too big for his head. I almost went with Gargoyle (garg for short) and that may be a nickname, but I liked Soot. He reminds me of an anime soot ball :

So, at least one more baby, a mama and a teenager. Sigh. My arms will never be the same.

Lol he does look like a soot ball. What a cutie! With some socialization I think he'll warm up to you just fine. If you get 'em young like that it usually isn't too hard to domesticate them. :)

The mom was most certainly dumped. She'd be exquisite if properly cared for. She is a huge long haired ...what's it called when the cat is all sorts of colors? Calico? She's pretty but needs to be given a bath and a shave to clean out the burrs. :(

I think I'm going to find out about renting a "have a hart" trap to try and catch her and the teenaged cat that is hanging around. It must be a kit from one of her previous litters, because it keeps close and looks similar. It's just a bit bigger than these guys.

There is ONE more little black one. They've wised up a bit now and really sprint away when we show up. :(
Soot is still in a bit of shock I think, he barely moves from the corner. I have to remind myself that I've had Squeaker for a few days, and it's only now that he is really happy with me. Sigh.
