That's pretty rude considering you don't know what else was going on. It says the dog is 10, and moved with her from Asia, to California, to New York....so at least she's not one of those idiots who gets a dog and dumps it when it comes time to move.

I hope she gets her dog back. :(

Well I mean I see what your saying..
But still thats awhile to be in a car..
if it's not hot outside why does it matter?

A small dog like that can be perfectly comfortable in a vehicle with a reasonable temperature.

I honestly only have a problem with leaving a dog in the car if it is hot outside (since it was nighttime I doubt the sun was causing a heat issue) or if it is really cold out and the dog doesn't have a blanket in the car to snuggle in (unless the dog has a really thick coat like Belle but Beezer would need a blanket) otherwise it's really not a big deal I don't think.

She deserves her dog back... he's ten years old... can you imagine how lost that dog must feel :(

I live in the same area of the country and the weather has been chilly, so allowing her dog to be in the car for an hour and a half was not irresponsible in any way. I've decided after reading stories on this site about dognappings from cars that if I ever need to leave my new puppy in the car for even a few minutes, she's going to be inside her travel bag so no one can peer into the car and see her. And of course it shouldn't need to be said that I wouldn't leave her in the car for even a nanosecond if the weather is warm. I hope this poor woman gets her dog back. This is really a tragedy, especially considering the dog is 10 years old and just had surgery - poor thing.

Wow, poor thing. I noticed there was no date on it which always makes me skeptical since sometimes these things circle the internet for years, but I see that she posted an ad on Craig's list so I suppose it's legit :) And wow she's offering a $3000 reward - she must really love her dog. Cute little doggy too.

What a precious little boy. Before I read about the reward, I was like "Not happening." But $3000 or a dog. Human society makes me sick that someone would steal a dog out of a car. Can you really be that desperate? Like really, go to the pound and get yourself a nice baby that doesn't have a home. UGH.
In AZ its illegal to leave a dog in your car in the summer. If you get caught, Joe Arpaio takes poochy away. Good for him, because it gets in the early 120's here. HOT. In NY, though, I don't see the problem, especially at night... Well except the car theft rate there is ridiculously high.
I hope this woman gets her dog back, for HIS sake.

Here its past a certain month. Its already in effect. At walmart the other day there were police in the parking lot rescuing a JRT from a car. He was already overheated and dehydrated. :( Poor baby.
