It's nice out tonight, so I have the sliding glass doors to the patio open. The dogs are out there being dogs. Which includes occasional barking. They stop when I tell them "enough", and if they don't, I bring them inside. But what do I do about Monday's howling? Loud, blood-curdling, break-your-eardrums howling. I keep waiting for the neighbors to show up with tar, feathers, and a hemp noose.
