Ok, so my new car has ABS fitted, and from what I can gather you are not advised to cadence brake on snow like you are in cars without ABS..
So what do you do? Just stomp on the brakes and hope for the best??
When my cars not in 4 wheel drive, it's rear wheel drive and although I am quite apt at getting out of a skid (lots of practice round here), i'm not entirely sure that I trust the ABS to do it's job. I certainly don't want to be sliding around like a bit of butter in a hot frying pan, especially as I could go off the edge of a cliff in various places round here!!
This might sound a bit sad, but i've never had a car new enough to actually have ABS before, and i'm not sure that I like it! :rofl1:
