I've had on again / off again issues with my Fiesta since I bought it 3 years ago. This winter was the final straw, I just got tired of dealing with it and decided it was time to move on. I spent a few months looking, researching, trying to decide what I wanted and I finally had it narrowed down to 3 different Subarus.

It was nice out over the weekend, so we stopped by the dealer, sat in a few cars, and test drove a few others. In the end, it was decided that the Impreza was too small, the Forester was too big, but the XV Crosstrek was just right.

The dealer has a silver with a moonroof on the slow boat from Japan, but once he gets in, he is all mine. Now I need names! My Fiesta is Dori and I thought about sticking with Finding Nemo, but can't come up with anything. My other thoughts are:

Handles - The Cyberman Head Matt Smith has in his last episode
K-9

Any other suggestions

I'm all for the Doctor Who theme. My current car is my second CR-V and her name is Romana II. :P

My car is a Buick Lesabre and I call him Sabrè. If you watched The Office you will understand. His nickname is The Swaggin' Wagon though.

If you want to stick with finding nemo, name him Bruce :)

I second Bruce and I may steal "The Swaggin' Wagon".

The only useful thing I have to add to this thread is HOW DO YOU BUY A CROSSTREK AND NOT GET ORANGE!?!

I'm going to pretend it's orange for my own happiness. :p

(Seriously, though, congrats!! Crosstreks rock.)

I know, right! If they would have been able to find an orange with a moonroof in any of the surrounding states, I would have (and named him Nemo or TANG). Unfortunately they couldn't. He did offer to sell me the orange that they hand in stock & put a moonroof in after the fact.

My 2nd choice was desert khaki, which they also couldn't find. What I was left with was take the silver they had coming, hope they could find an orange one, or try to order one. I went with, 'well, you've got one coming on a slow boat from Japan.....'

My first car was Car. My second car was CarII (read: car2, but I said Karl). My new car is CarII.0.

I'm extremely creative and helpful. :p

Gotcha, haha! Silver's a good bet. Doesn't show dirt or anything, too. :)

No name suggestions because I suck at them. :(
