So i brough the GSD pup home that i currently just got about a week ago , that night , it must have felt surrounded and closed in . It was snapping at both of our dogs , ( my boxer , my moms cockapoo ) and it was biting , trying to get blood i think .
Holly was trying to play back thinking thats what she wanted .

At night , my girlfriend and i had to sleep in separate spots so the pup wouldn't go at Holly.

The next morning we woke up and took ONLY the puppy out , we took her outside, and she ran right back to the door . ( we were both outside as well )
So we thought , why is she doing that ?.. we carried her to the furthest part from the door , and she ran as hard as she could back . So we let her in and she ran upstairs to the bedroom door ( where holly was inside ) .. Bandit (GSD) started crying like there was no tomorrow. We let her in the room and she started kissing Holly everywhere .

I have never seen 2 better dogs together . Now they won't even play fight , i mean it does happen, but not everyday . It's histarical to watch them walk side by side . SO CUTE . But if another dog starts barking , BEWARE . Holly has gotten alot more protective.

A getting-to-know-you or adjustment period is pretty typical. It sounds like things are going to level out and your new pup learns the ropes and gets more comfortable in her new surroundings.
