Well,
I realised that most of the members here in this forum are not so interested in toy breeds. Someone posted a thread about "what is the breed that you don't like to own", and most of them said toy breed -most, not all-.

I wanted to show you how toy breeds can be so cool sometimes. My maltese -Snowy- can retrieve a ball from the pool. He can swim and retrieve just like a golden retriever or a labrador retriever or any other big breed. I told many people about it and many of them were like "I don't believe it" so I had to take a video of that....

Take a look :D here is the link:

WOW great vid, Snowy looks like he's really enjoying himself. He's faster at retrieving balls than Casey and she's a Golden :D.

OMG!!! That is the cutest thing I've ever seen. He is having a blast. You give him a good home and lots of fun! Terrific!

I love toy breeds and big breeds and medium ones. I enjoy having both, my Chihuahuas and my Doberman.

Thanks for sharing such a cute video.

A friend of mine had a poodle - up until his late ages of 15 - would jump in a river and pluck fish right out of the water. He was a big dog at heart and nothing scared him.

I would much prefer a medium-large dog, but I'd never pass up the chance to own a toy breed, either. Chihuahuas and Maltese are my two favorite toy breeds. :)

My grandmother is owned by three cute lil Maltese named Maylynn, Maytag, and Angel, while they would -NEVER- step foot in her pool, they sure can tug like crazy!

I think that most maltese are the same. Thats why maltese owners -the people who I told them about Snowy- couldn't believe it without seeing a video of him swimming :p

I have a toy breed, Charlie is such a sweety! :) He can do anything a big dog can do! he loves frisbee and tennis balls and he loves to run :) most people think of toy breeds as yappy, snippy, nippers but MOST (not all) are not! so dont let the few spoiled untrained anooying ones, ruin the reputation of the good ones. :D

I do have to admit I have no patience for small dogs. Well most anyways. I have only ever met the bad ones.

I do like beagles though because they are a small dog but they are tough n ruff

I'm scared that I will break a toy dog. I'm kinda clumsy and Chico is always catching my falls and I'm constantly stepping on him (though he doesn't care) and I know I would kill a little dog.

I am addicted to Chis. I am also around toy dogs constantly being a groomer and whatnot. ShihTzus, Yorkies, Mini Schnauzers, Toy Poodles, etc... I would have to say I prefer Toys over the larger breeds. But give me a big ol' cuddlebug like Precious or Harley and I am happy too!
