Our back yard isn't good for agility, too many trees and it's oddly shaped. The only good spot really is now a dog run and having that is more valuable then having agility stuff.

But, we do back onto a green space and it's a nice option. Yes, have to set up and take down every time, but the bonus is I could set up an entire course if I had the stuff to do it, lots of room to do a few jumps then wing a ball, and lots of distractions like kids. It would be nice to have a private area and I do have access to one with a short drive, but for being able to train whenever it's not hard to put some jumps up, get weaves in and go play. Need to get new electric fence posts soon but not complaining.

And really, could set it up and work it on and off all day and likely nobody would bother it much. Can't count the number of times we've left the garage wide open and either nothing happens, or someone mentions a day or two later that they noticed and closed it. Kind of like the neighbor across the street who kept forgetting his keys in his truck, and about six different people had gone over, tried to get into the truck, tried the door, and so on. I think the neighbor next to us has a spare key now. :rofl1:

Uhhh I'll host a Chaz agility party if everyone chips in so I have a full course to offer :p Would probably need a fence first too...don't want people's dogs disappearing into the woods!

That's beautiful! Can I trade you some trees for flat ground and grass?
Thank you:) We have lots of trees, just not in the back field ;) That section is wide open.

1. Do you have a separate potty area from your equipment? I've found with mine they are very distracted in the yard while we try to work and want to sniff all the potty spots. Of course training and building it up helps some but I was just curious.
No, no separate potty area, my dogs don't seem bothered by the smells while they train.

2. How do you keep the dogs from launching off the agility equipment while they're out playing? Haha
I have a regulation Teeter and a regulation tunnel, I also have 12 weaves and 3 home made jumps. the only one the dogs actually play with when they are out in the yard not training is the tunnel. They like to chase each other thru it.

3. Do you take it all down/move it when you mow?
I take it all down when we mow the yard and I don't put it up again until I train again, in the winter it is all stored in our garage.

My typical agility setup in part of the front yard. We have 2 mowed acres (5 acres total but much of it is wild or water)
