Most of you know me... LOL So, yeah I am rather confrontational. Often, a little too much as in I actually enjoy the fight sometimes. I like to wade into the middle with guns blazing, if you know what I mean.

I see it like this... Say what you mean and mean what you say, because the truth never has anything to hide. If somebody gets a little bruised along the way (including myself), well that is just tough. Those bruises teach a lesson and always heal up stronger than before. We all learn WAY more from a failure than from a success.
I agree 100% which I think is why we tend to butt heads lol.
Which hasent happend in awhile.......Something must be wrong! ;)

Honestly I used to hate confrontation and avoided it at all costs. I was a doormat and was used by people. And one day I just got sick of it. Now I say exactly whats on my mind right when I think it. And wether im right or wrong im not afraid to share. And this could be a bad thing but I usually don't care if I hurt someones feelings.

I've said it before, and will say it again a zillion times. I'm actually NOT the least bit confrontational. you may think that. you may truly believe that in your deepest soul..maybe with good reason. but in person I am not the least what you think I am. I tend to type my thoughts, and I know they seem too blunt usually. and yes...I will attack when I think I'm being attacked. without thought...I simply attack. that is a weakness of my background........attack or be eaten alive. sick..yeah. but I also post thoughts....mere thoughts that are interpreted as 'rants' or worse. but if I were talking to you in person, it would be quiet jabber. what is interpreted via words is always..always up to the reader. you are in a bad mood...I sound worse. but...I'm merely a quiet person that has deep love for my friends and family. passionate...yes....to a HUGE fault. but oddly enough.....I'm NOT confrontational. not my real self anyway.

I've learned a few things by surviving to this point:

1. To pick my battles. Not everything or everyone is worth fighting over or for.
2. You can't argue with stupid people. Just walk away and forget it.

And the nice thing about #2 is that once people know that about you, you can walk away from an argument with them and they have to wonder if you don't think it's worth fighting over or if you think they're too stupid to argue with ;)

and maybe if I'm the stupid one, I also have to wonder why it's important anyway. this is a forum. a dog forum. I love my dogs to death, but I'm also much more. and when I put the forum into prospective, it doesn't matter one bit what anyone thinks. if you think I'm confrontational......ok then. it's not my real life at all. and while I treasure some people I've met here, in the end..............it's the internet afterall. so if I come across as stupid or mean......no biggie, right? no biggie at all........ my life will go on, as will yours. and so what if we don't always see eye to eye. in the big picture of real life....it's not a big deal is it? :)

Errr, Debi . . . that didn't have anything at all to do with you ;) I just happened to post right after your post - I'd been reading backwards :D

It didn't have anything to do with anyone who had posted in the thread even.

LMAO! Yup. Shore do . . . and another thing I've learned . . .

"He who wade in middle with guns blazin' often step off ledge into swamp full of sh1t."

And then the bullets ricochet and can splash that sh1t all over the place :D

But hey, good fun, huh? :D

One of my mothers favorite sayings is "I'd slap you, but sh*t splatters."

It makes a lot of people stop and stare. :D
