the CFIA page, if i read it right, says that the certification is only necessary if the dog is NOT accompanied by the dog owner. i guess this means if the dog is being shipped?
so if i happen acquire a puppy on my trip to WA two weeks from now, that puppy will be owned by me at that point, and therefore will only require proof of rabies, if over the age of 3 months? if i drive across the border with MY pup, it is not being "shipped," but is accompanying me, right?
and i would imagine the price of the pup would be included in the rest of my goods that are being brought across? in BC i am allowed to bring back a certain monetary value of goods, tax free...depending on how long my trip is.
