is not my friend! I just got a Magic Trackpad for my Mac, and let me tell you, the learning curve is more like a mountain!

When they say "one finger tap to click," they mean ONE finger. (I know which one I'd like to use at this point, but I digress.) And two-fingered scrolling? You'd best USE two fingers. (And British Chazzers can guess which two I'm tempted to go with, but I digress again.)

I am constantly highlighting things I don't intend to highlight, opening windows I had no intention of opening, and finding menus I didn't know existed in places I never would have thought to look for them. This is hard!

Can anybody offer advice? Or, if not advice, sympathy and encouragement? (sigh)

I don't know if it's encouragement or advice, but I found the switch to the Mac pad method totally painless  It probably helped that I've always preferred a touchpad to a mouse anyway, though.

Every time I've found myself struggling with some part of switching from having used a PC for so many years I find out that the problem was because I was making it too complicated (a symptom of fighting with PCs for years :wall: )
