This is a dog forum so I'll put Romey pics first in case you don't care about bunnies (but you should :p)

Romey 1

Romey 2 (hoof!!)

that's all of him for now. Aannd on to the bunnies.

I got two new bunnies last weekend, a Creme D'argent doe and a New Zealand Red doe (who is hopefully knocked up :p). I've wanted a Creme for ages, and she's super sweet! I *think* she's 4 months old now, but would have to check.

(grrr I wish that she was completely in frame!)

You can see how nicely silvered she is on the back:

My lens is no match for binkies:

I quite like how this one turned out:

hehe her nose

"hurrrrrr" (if you've been around chickens you'll know what I'm talking about :p)

Ok, you get the picture; she's cute and I love her :p Onto new doe #2, a senior New Zealand Red (hopefully with "buns in the oven" HA HA HA (lol))

Nice pretty red color:

But she's a bit shy:

... and my camera ran out of battery, so that's all of her for now

And though she isn't a new addition, here is my somewhat cantankerous New Zealand White doe, Pancakes:

And lastly, I looked out the window and saw this little critter harassing Pancakes through her pen... me and Roman caught it in a fantastic team effort lol It's feral and I'm not sure what I'll do with it but I don't want it biting, giving diseases/parasites to or breeding with my rabbits.

Thanks for looking!

It's probably a little ridiculous how, when I saw this thread, I went "YES ROMAN PICTURES FINALLY!" :p I have been feeling deprived of Roman pictures as of late.

Love that dog! Also, the bunnies make me smile, fourth one down of your creme girl is all sorts of adorable <3

You made me snort my drink with the buns in the oven joke :p

They're cute! Knox would have had a grand time helping me catch a rabbit, I'm afraid his payment for his services would have been exactly one rabbit though :p

Thanks everyone! (To you too Patchwork Robot, I see you :p)

Equinox, thank you, I will post proper pics of Roman soon. I've got a bunch of pics of him but most are with my iPhone. Some are nice but there aren't any good action shots... I do not have the ambition to lug around my D80 on walks :p

CharlieDog, oh believe me, lol Roman definitely expected payment lol. He chased it down the driveway full tilt about 200 ft, then it ran into a lumber pile. He located it within the pile each time it moved, eventually it wedged itself between some boards and I extracted it. He wanted it sooo bad lol. Every time we went outside he ran over to its cage like "OK let's eat it now!"

Turns out the bunny was nursing so I let it go. Hopefully it will stay away from my yard, but at least it can't impregnate anyone.

Kat, thanks, I asked for a bred doe but the doe the breeder wanted to give me didn't breed, so I got the doe the breeder was planning on keeping. The breeder gets a kit back. Apparently the buck is super awesome so *fingers crossed* she's preggers and there are a bunch of nice babies.

Nice red doe -- for whatever reason I prefer the NZRs...figures that I have white, black, and broken black lol.

Why are you breeding?

Thanks guys! I'm breeding for show/to improve the breed. Everyone has told me that the whites tend to be, on average, better quality and it makes sense as sooo many people breed them. The reds "need more work." The red is nice and her breeder told me she placed in the shows she's been entered in but Pancakes has a nicer pelt and I think lb for lb she's more muscular--she's just a tad small lol.

Here is Pancakes' 12 second senior show career:
