I wondering if this idea might work..... If I find a "present" left on the floor, can I bring the puppy to it, then pick up "goods" and deposit it where it should be? Will he get the idea? Or is he going to just learn to pick it up and move it when he's done?

Just wondering what people thought about this... When associating a word with potty training, is it better to have one word associated with both? or one word for #1 and one for #2?

I'm interested in getting people's perspective on this. Some people seem to be very against mixing breeds, but I don't understand the reason. Is mixing breeds somehow harmful to the dogs? Thanks for the input.
