Dingo; 5 months dingo hybrid

While beautiful and intelligent, I would recommend the dingo ONLY to people with extensive experience in raising and training cunning and strong willed dogs. Definately not for the faint of heart or passive personalities. The dingo WILL test the pecking order and you better be up to it! Highly intelligent and easy to train once rank is established, I have rarely had to show something more than once to any dingo and they have it for life. Very fastidious, the dingo has NO natural body or breath odor. In a domestic setting, these dogs tend to get very fat, very fast on a diet that would starve other breeds, so great care must be taken to feed them a diet which is not overly rich. Commercially available dog food is not an option for dingoes. While they are not a large dog, they are very dense and their weight is surprising. My yearling female, Dingo, shown here is 18" at shoulder and weighs 75 lbs. Their digestive system, if they are fed properly, is highly efficient and they produce very little waste. They play hard and they sleep hard. While they can be very energetic, they prefer not to be.
