The other day I took my girls on a walk by ourselves to the same park we met MandyPug and Izzie last week. I was disappointed that I didn't take any pictures that day with them, so had to go back specifically for pictures haha. And it was really nice out and I didn't want to waste such a warm day sitting at home, so a walk through one of our favourite parks seemed like a good idea. Journey did great. She tormented her sister as usual, but Dance tells her off if she's being too much and mostly they just ran and played and had a great time. And while Journ wore a long line for most of the time for her own safety just in case she decided to run off, I was very impressed at how much she paid attention to Dance and I and where we were. She's doing very well with her recalls, too. She makes having a puppy around so easy and enjoyable. She's so good, so attentive, so much fun, so comfortable in her own skin... just a really nice little dog. By far the most stable, easy going dog I've ever raised. I think she's going through a little bit of a fear stage, as she's been a little uncharacteristically jumpy at a few things, but nothing concerning. She recovers quickly and checks whatever it is out that surprised her, eats some treats, and carries on as normal. Also, apparently when you take two fuzzy, cute dogs out together you become a people magnet. More people talked to me on the way to and from the park that day than they usually do in an entire week haha. And a bunch of people thought they were both puppies or siblings. Silly people, although I guess Dance does look like a puppy to non-dog people. Anyway, I took a hundred and some pictures as usual, so here are a bunch!
Don't worry, I don't let her actually bother Dance. If she's being a real pest I call her off and let Dance play alone. Or Dance snarks at her and she stops.
Lots more!
