Tendons under both feet streched, arches collapsed causing stress fractures in both ankles, with all that out of whack caused chronic bursitus in both hips. Got to the point to where I could barely walk after running, still at that point today and to top it of now weather is an affecting issue. No real treatment or solution.
The Docs figured it happened 2 weeks into training, which means I ran and trained for a little over a month on messed up ankles. At least one of my DIs was impressed with that, at least thats what he told my folks.
*edit* Cant be a Marine if you cant run. My discharge was such no armed service would take me.

Many of my own family hasnt seen these.
Its been 11 years since those where taken and those are about the only ones I have from those 4 months. It makes me think of where in the world I would be if things had been different. The only reason I have those pics is because my parents purchased their plane tickets before I was dropped from training.
