That's a beautiful looking CBR you got there. Can only see the back of it and the front but I'm guessing it's a CBR.

Also glad to notice you have the sense to wear your gear.

Sadly, a lot of people don't have that sense around here in TX.

Edit: Doh, just saw CBR written on the side of the bike lol. *not very observant*

Thank you, Glassonion!
I decided to get rid of it last year and take a break. Two friends passed away on one so i decided to lay off for awhile. I'm itching to get back on though. once in awhile i'll take my supermoto bike around the block and wake everyone up :p

I met the right riding friends from the get go. They always made sure i wore my gear. Are there helmet laws in Texas? My dad wears a half bucket when riding, I got him a jacket and some leather chaps and he wears them. He wont wear full face though.

Do you ride also?

When I can. AKA when I convince my friend who does ride to let me ride his bike. Not an easy task lol.

I'm saving money to buy an EX500/GS500 and should have it by next summer at the latest. But I'm in college so money comes few and far between.

As for the helmet law, I've no idea. I don't think so, or it's not enforced at the least. Tons of people ride without helmets or any gear what so ever.

After seeing a water melon fall off the back of a truck at high way speeds, I can't imagine the human head being too much different. So it'll be an EXO-700 for me.

Yup, it's resting outside of the trigger guard. I never place my finger on the trigger unless i'm ready to fire.

The pistol is a Kimber Custom II .45acp 1911 Same exact pistol LAPD S.W.A.T. team uses.
The rifle is a mutt... ahha it's a Lauer lower reciever with a Rock river arms upper reciever with a rock river arms lowers part kit. I live in california and ar15's arent allowed. Everyone found a way around the law so tons of people now own AR's and AK's in california legally. :p

Glassonion.
My hat goes off to you! I've seen people in florida pull 60mph wheelies with no helmets. Not sure what people are thinking over there in florida. It's nice to see a fellow biker with some common sense! I mean, why wouldnt you wear a helmet? :) P.S. the 500 will be a perfect bike for you! Glad to see you're not jumping on a r6 or a 1000rr for your first bike. Believe it or not, people here in cali do that

oh it's common here in Texas too. Hayabusa sales went way up after Roethenburger (or whatever his name is) had his spill on his.

You'd think it'd be vice versa.

I've just no desire to have a machine that I can go 80 in first and that has no use anywhere but the track.

And I do plan on learning to wheelie just to know how to do it. But I reckon that will be a by product of learning to ride the bike well. I certainly don't plan to do it at 70 down the free way.

But that's not an uncommon practice here either unfortunately.

And I also plan to go ATGATT. My sister says she'll kick my arse if I don't so I don't have much choice any how and it'll help in convincing the parents. Besides, sweat wipes off easier than rash.

By the by that's a huge collection of surf boards. I envy you. Always wanted to learn how to surf but never had the waves to do so.

I was actually looking at that Kimber for my next hand gun. In light of Kali's laws its nice to see ARs and, my favorite rifle, AKs are legalyly owned.

Where'd you learn to shoot?

Which kimber model are you looking to get? Some of their stuff is just wayyyyy too expensive! But, if i had the money I'd get 'em too! ahhaha I like the fact that there's .22lr conversions for the kimber 1911's. just change the upper reciever and mag and boom! i've seen them for for 125 bucks used. and they're fairly accurate.

How are the laws in alaska? Gun laws have been bad here in cali but we're getting together and trying to fight them one by one. We finally passed a law where the DOJ no longer has the authority to declare what an assault weapon is. No more gun banning by non gun knowing DOJ officials!

I learned to shoot from my father. He learned to shoot from my grandfather. Always better learning something from your father rather than someone else!

as for your favorite rifle. It's sad to see that kalashnikov invented the rifle to help his people but now the bad people use his weapon for bad things :(

I believe it was the same model you posted, pricey but a good feel in my hand. I havent shot one yet so I dont now how it actually feels.

Federal standards are about all we have, I dont even need a lisence to carry concealed in State. Our full auto laws are pretty easy but the Federal law still makes them not cost effective.

I whole heartedly agree with that on both counts. It is a fantastic rifle, just not as accurate as the M16a2 that I realy learn how to shoot and firearm safety with, I got my training while in USMC Boot that I unfortunently did not graduate from. I will have some pics that very few people have seen scanned soon from there.

I would really like a Dragunov SVD as well as a AR, in the .223 round as well as the Special Forces model made to take the AK 47 magazine and round.

I purchased it for about 800 or so out the door. (i got ripped off... gf got it for me as a present and we didnt shop around)
My friend just recently purchased one for 750 or so out the door.
(now that i think about it... 750 for a pistol is pretty dang expensive. I looked at the remington 700 last week for $654 and told myself... jeez thats expensive) :p

Federal standards.... nice! Not use for an auto weapon anyways... they sure are fun though! I usually just bump fire the ar and people think it's a full auto.

Nice! would love to see pictures of you in the corps! When did you serve?

How accurate are those SVD's? They would be nice if they're about the same as an ar15 with a bull barrel considering the 7.62 round is larger and has more "thump"

With the trigger sets I have only one of my AKs is setup properly to bumpfire easily.

Today was supposed to be a slow day at work so I didnt get the pics scanned.

I was in 08/01/05 to 11/20/05, those dates are engrained in my head. The pics are from graduation day and my parents allready had plane tickets so they got to watch my Series march across the Parade Deck with me.

The SVD was, might still be, the Ruassian military sniper rifle and fires the 7.62x59, unfortunently the Chinese versions are going for over $2k at the moment and the Russian made ones I havent seen a price for as they arent importable.

My forward scope AK I can ping a manhole cover all day at 300yrds. Open sights on my training M16A2 all 10 in the black at 500yrds. Got dropped from training before I got to play with the fun guns, they wouldnt even let me do the gas chamber.
