I am a defensive driver since our roads are CRAZY ANYWAY but people need to stop riding as close to the back of my car as possible. 3 cars today got so close to me that I couldn't see their headlights anymore. The left lane was WIDE open. They could have totally passed me, or even just gotten over and driven. No. They wouldn't, so I went in the left lane so they could zoom past.

Thats not how overtaking works people!!

Uurrrp. Ate leftovers for lunch today and had that awkard amount that when I was full and done eating, I had too little to save for another meal, but too much to throw out. So I ate it. Now I'm super full. Bleh.

Also, I'm apparently having my review at work today. o_O Nerves are strong. I swear everyone enjoys working with me but the head vet. So don't to have a bad review.

When people send you a tracking number and it doesn't move for a freaking week. What I needed was supposed to be here today, and it hasn't even been to the facility.

Yeah. Lots of faith in ebay right now.

Every single one of my friends is going to be married before I ever get married.

It will be time to throw the bouquet at my wedding and they will ask all the single ladies to come onto the dance floor.

No one will move.

BECAUSE THEY WILL ALL BE MARRIED.

Rediculous things that my mother has said, #192:

"Can you please remove the dog bed? People may trip over it and sue us".

Note that the dog bed is against a wall and in the middle of a lamp and the tv. And she only ever asks me to put it down stairs once out of every 20 times we have people over.

Oh my god.

Today, mine said (about a ~40lb overweight boarding lab) "Based on the size of his feet, how overweight is he?"

Cable was an asshole. Seriously. I didn't have a router (thought they provided it) and he acted like I was a moron because of it. (And also because I just ordered basic cable). Then he proceeded to stomp mud all over my house and also left nails and screws all in the floor from where he was working.

I asked if I could set up the router myself and he asked me how I was going to do that if I didn't even know what it was.

Seriously? Seriously?

I'd call the cable company back and make a complaint. There is no reason for that.

This is such a stupid thing that I'm not sure if I'm even going to hit the "submit reply" button.

I'm thinking of doing an event and calling it Happy Hounds Howlloween. My problem? No matter how many times I try, I can't say "Howlloween". I don't know why. My daughter says it and it just slips over her lips. I sound like I'm gagging on marbles. She's in hysterics, literally rolling on the floor.

Wine. I need wine.

Every holiday it's apparently expected that we're at Josh's parents place for dinner. His parents make a big ordeal about me not being able to make it - which sometimes to me comes off as resentful (Because apparently my family dinners don't matter).

I get that they're a catholic family and this sort of stuff means a lot to them. And yes, my family may not be the most "functional" but it just irks me....My family is important too.

I'm really upset that I am not in a position to foster right now. I'm sure some have heard about the massive puppy mill seize in the ACD world. I just really want to help and I can't for a multitude of reasons.

So frustrating.

I've sent an email about fostering, but haven't heard back yet. I'm not sure what else I can do. :/ I hope they're able to get all the dogs placed. What a sucky situation. Picayune is literally an hour west of me.

Don't know if you have any extra time but they maybe could use a hand caring for the dogs at the SPCA :). The SPCA was granted temporary custody until another hearing in 14 days. Not sure but I don't think they can send dogs out to rescue and to foster if they only have temp custody?

Your family is important, too. Don't let them bully you into that. I'm Catholic and I don't care whether I see his family or my family, just as long as its fair and equal (or as close to equal as we can). A lot of my friends are also Catholic and they feel the same way. It might just be more of a family thing, and not necessarily a religious thing. Though, I do know that, like with every religion there are the people way too...involved (I dont know if thats the word I am looking for though...maybe fanatical? Dunno).

Why not do a small get together for your family at your place the night before? Or offer to do the big meal the day of and invite both families? Start some new traditions of your own :)
