2 posts in one day! I'm on a roll. Usually I go to post something here, read a few other posts and then feel like mine isn't so bad after all. BUT, today I'm in a desperate mood with no one to share it with except the good ol' internet.

Chewy seems to have eaten something that's made her sick, as in diarrhea 5 times in the last 7 hours. And we don't have a yard so I just have to walk her around town and avoid people's property because no amount of plastic bags will help that situation.

I work all day tomorrow so I have to leave her with someone with cheerful instructions to take her out every couple of hours or whenever she looks at you expectantly. Yay.

I made her chicken and rice for dinner, which she happily ate. Then I remembered the 24 hour fasting thing and felt stupid.

I also completely burnt the first batch of rice I tried to make (apparently 1/2 cup rice, 1 cup water, 45 minutes means either half the time or twice the water), and burnt rice smells a lot like chihuahua poop so I've been suspiciously walking around the house and staring at my parents' dogs.

Also there's a huge probability that whatever Chewy ate Lola also got into so I've been watching her like she's a Ticking Time Butt.

Speaking of Lola she's been freaking out any time the other dogs pick up a toy, stealing it then trying to destroy it, so she's been in time out a lot today.

And lastly my mom's dog hasn't pooped all day which brings me back to is it rice or poop?!

It's a good thing they're all so **** cute.

Well I need to set myself a dr appointment. I was recommended to a doctor out here that works with people that don't have health insurance and he doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

I have been having constant joint pain everywhere. It seems it is mainly in my fingers an wrists but I will feel it pretty much anywhere there are joints and it seems to randomly move from location to location and then back again. This joint pain has been going on for a couple months now. Starting to feel more random bouts of throbbing pain in other spots now such as my forearm an calf.

Monday and Tuesday I had constant headaches, blurry vision, dizzy spells, nausea and ended up throwing up a couple times.

Then yesterday I wake up with horrible pain in my stomach. I described it in this thread already but it feels like I did a thousand push-ups the day before (twisted sore stomach muscle feeling) and I could barely get out of bed and had to roll over to my side to get out of bed. Absolutely can't go from a lying position to a sit position without rolling to my side now and even that hurts. I felt like that all day yesterday on top of the joint pain.

Then this morning I wake up and my stomach pain still feels the same though add my lower back to that as well. My neck feels a little stiff too but I think it's from me trying to get comfortable last night. I don't feel nausea right now at least.

My first thought was honestly fibromyalgia since my mom, 2 aunts and 2 cousins all have it. A lot of people seem to think it also sounds like potential lymes disease as well so I just really need to get seen by a doctor. Unfortunately I have to work today and can't take another day off since I called out on Tuesday.

Eta: another thing multiple people have asked me is if maybe I'm pregnant since I haven't had a period since May 1. I've taken numerous tests though including one this morning and all have been negative. Plus not sure what that would have to so with all my joint pain especially. I do think I have PCOS like my sister which if I do would explain the lack of a period.

How's the gluten-free diet going? I'm not sure I'm 100% on board but I have heard that gluten can cause joint inflammation...

It shouldn't have anything to do with the joints but you might want to get checked for a UTI. A severe UTI can cause back pain. I think you've kinda had a history of UTIs in the past too if I remember right, so that's one thing to think about.

I hope the doctor can figure it out. =< It could just be a really bad flu but since it's lingering, it's definitely a good idea to get it checked out if you can.

Had a 5 minute conversation with a new doc this morning about trying a different type of BC, in which I expressed my concerns about the Aviane and what I've heard about it severely worsening depression/making people psychotic. She said she'd look through some stuff and talk to the pharmacist and get back to me.

Her response: "It's reasonable to trial this and we can also put you on Prozac for 14 days out the month."

Not...quite what I was going for there...but I'm at the point in my cycle where I HAVE to start something on Sunday and it doesn't sound like I'll be able to get anything else in time, so here goes. Cross your fingers that I'm one of those oddballs where the Aviane works amazing and doesn't make me turn into a psychotic whale with cystic acne.

And also: I was supposed to be off at 5. Had someone call me as I was leaving to say they'd be here at 7. Then texted to see if I could send them numbers before hand, which I can't, because the desk is too busy to get them put together for someone who isn't currently here. If this guy blows off his appointment, I'm going to be very, very upset. I've had a super sh*tty day since I woke up and all I wanted to do was go home and take Sawyer for a walk while it was still light outside.

I feel like I'm in school again. On the computer doing "homework" before bed, listening to music and getting distracted by the internet. I have to put up a bulletin board at work about senior pets and it needs to be up by Sept 1st.... and I just completely suck at getting any of it done while I'm at work, so here I am doing it at home! Bleh I feel like I don't have any good info to put up.

Bleh. One of our vets at work is moving out of state, then another vet will be going on maternity leave beginning of next year. And they just hired in three new techs about two months ago.

I don't know why I'm worried. I'm going to be leaving the beginning of next year anyway, but...my hours SO better not be cut in the meantime.

I want a redo. I expected bringing home a glum, icky feeling puppy home from being neutered, and instead I got a Hazard. Yep. Unfazed by the whole thing and wants the world to know it.

And Charlie's been off her food the last couple of days, she'll eat it if I dump it in her crate but will try to bury it with her blanket if I don't. Because of this there's kibble still in her crate. Tonight Kiba went in there and Charlie also went in and they got into it. Hauled Charlie off, and of her and Stryder went at it because he always comes to her rescue. AWESOME.

Apparently the towing company is under budget for the month or something because now they're just towing cars whenever the hell they feel like. My bf's car just got towed and it was parked in a regular "free for all" spot.
