Oh, gosh. Mom just flipped the apricot girl off of her and pushed her away from nursing... then she got up and left, with the lady out of the room. Poor babies are going BANANAS! = (
Wow. They bred an F1 Goldendoodle to a Poodle. I'm sure that accomplishes much. Why not just breed Poodles, if you're breeding dogs that are almost all Poodle? Oh, yeah, that would mean showing and titling dogs and adhering to a real standard which is way too much work, yanno.

AT the kennels when i started i was the smallest (and could sit long hours in a whelping box) so it was my job to stay with mom from beginning to end. I was to keep the pups suckling, move them out of the way and under the warmth while mom was busy, put them back, keep it clean, keep her happy. Hollar if help was needed. IT was a glorious wonderful experience and i don't regret a minute of it. Always a miracle. I wish my Mom could have seen this she has never seen a puppy born. WHich shows growing up they were big on spay and neuter.
Sorry... off topic a bit... Nothing specifically against BM... but Honestly I wondered the same thing as RR.... I whelped a few litters in my time and I have lost a few pups.... I had one litter with a MONSTER and a TEENY pup and she lost both at the vets, the big pup was a horrible dry birth and I Never want to go there again.... I just find statements like that *feel* like a bit of a slam to breeders who have lost pups, you can do everything right and still lose a pup.

She has an issue with me and would not matter what I said Laurie..
And yes- never lost a pup.. ie when the female went to full term. And even then it wasnt until Galina I had to say that statement either. ( she lost her litter half way in pregnancy) And just remember Red WHOM you turned too for advice when you had a problem with your last litter ( dusts fingernails on collar and huffs.. uhhhhh me! )
