Today is day 58 from the first breeding (although we don't believe that's the one that took.) Started taking temperature tonight, though, just in case. No colostrum yet and puppies are still pretty high (and she's still very, very interested in food.)

Gotta be careful....Smokey had her pups at day 60 from the first breeding. It was a pleasant surprise.

good luck, this is so exciting.

No progesterone testing, she was willing to stand on day 10 - she was bred on that day (November 23rd), day 11 (24th), and day 13. (26th)- she was less willing to stand on day 13 and took a little more coaxing, and then wasn't interested at ALL on day 14. Progesterone testing would have been nice but the repro vet is 2.5 hours from the kennel where Mac was, and mentor (who bred her father and co-bred the stud dog) felt that it wasn't worth messing with. If she had missed this time, we'd do it next time, but she didn't, so...
