I've found some smoked pork pieces at one of our local supermarkets. Smoked hocks, necks and some other part I can't recall.
Are smoked pieces parts as dangerous as cooked parts (bones that is)? Smoking is generally done at a low temperature for extended periods of time.
There may be some added salt (brine) involved too.
Does anybody have experience with smoked pork pieces? They really made me long for a pot of beans but I was shopping for the dog.
