Ok, yes, I am a worry wart... however, Buddy for the last hmm, 15 minutes has been hacking all the while trying to hack something up. He's fine... he plays and then hacks... he drinks water and then he hacks...

I got a flashlight and stuck my hand in his mouth and I couldn't feel anything... is there anything I can give him? He's currently staring at me, wanting to play... but I'm a worry wart....

When Soph or any of them do something similar to that and I know they may just need to have something to help it down, I give them a cookie and supervise while they chew and swallow it down. It always works but I only do it if I think they're not actually choking.

LOL, no dr2little, if they were choking you would shove the cookie down their throat.. :p ROFL

I do the same, or make them have a drink. Something probably went down the wrong tube or is stuck :D

he drinks water fine.... I guess he can have another treat.. it's not like he's already spoiled! lol.....

OK CD, I just read my post and I do sound like a bit of a dork....I'm always so affraid to be responsible for making anything bad happen...especially when it involves BUDDY!!!:eek: :D

Well.. I'd say the fault lies on you both! You both had me crackin up...

Buddy seems to be okay? He drank more water and I gave him a couple puppy biscuits.. no more hacking. :) Good thing too, I soo was not up for a midnight run to the ER Vet....

Sorry for the highjacking BP, it was CD and Jess's fault..*crosses arms, points fingers BOTH directions*....*blows on both fingers like James Bond, pull up jammies yet again....waves goodnight*...I like this narration thing:D *head bops and winks*;) :D

OMG you all had me laughing! :) Especially the "pulls up jammie bottoms" LMAO.

Tira does that sometimes after eating grass (on the sly when I'm talking/looking at someone). We'll get inside and she does that hacky, ugggh, thing they do that makes you think they're dying. :eek: I rub her throat and pat her back until she either yaks it up or hacks something partially up and the reswallows it and is fine.
