Off To the Show!

Well, I am taking Mona to her first sanctioned "B" puppy match tonight! I am sure she will find a way to embarass me. She has a new thing where she likes to stick the tip of her tongue out when she's gaiting and being stacked...the the rest of the time she keeps it in her mouth. Go figure.

Tomorrow and Sunday I will be showing Alice in the regular show. Will post to let you know how we did. It's a major both days with Alice, so the competition will be tough!:yikes:

Well, we are back from the match and it was a lot of fun. Mona had to compete against a 2 year old male bulldog so she of course took second LOL! He was so cute. Mona is only about 4 months, so she really didn't stand a chance against a fully mature and filled out male, but it was great practice for her.

I was also lucky enough to hunt down some very respected bulldog fanciers and asked them to evaluate her. They said she was very nice and definitley had show potential. It was nice to hear since I am new to the breed I am always looking for outside opinions.

We had a good time

Well, we are done with day one. Alice took Winners Bitch and Best of Winners today for a...drum roll please...4 point major! I am so proud of her. My husband took some pictures but they are dark and far away. It was the best he could do with a baby in his arms.
