They are the sight for my sore eyes I tell ya. THeir comic relief is making this episode in my life a bit more bearable. You would think with the number of times Ressie has fallen off the back that he would figure it out. SAncho sat and sat and sat and sat. It wasn't until he couldn't anymore that REssie got a chance to try it out and find out it was a perfect fit for him too.
I am glad Huck is settling in. I bet he likes it, i know my gang would. He looks like he is getting LONG.
since I am out of b mix I cannot work on the tea set. So I am making a Ressie bowl to go with his series...maybe a series. He has already stuck his head in it a dozen times getting dark brown clay on his neck for me to wash off. He is so nosy.

Thank you Gapeach. I just think Baylee is stinking cute even if Ressie said thanks but no thanks. not doing this. He sat there for a second but I just wans't fast enough.
Don't even burn best choice wax logs in your fireplace is all I am saying. Talk about soot and a sooty kitten. I give a good bath, even if I say so myself, and I am very glad because Ressie took that well. He relaxed, stood with his feet on the bottom of the tub with good warm water up to his neck, I won't say the first few moments weren't a bit of panic, I lifte4d him straight up so he coudln't struggle and then let him back down, but he settled right down (without being scruffed) and I knelt in the water with him and was able to get a great deal of grey from his tail lets and even his head. He's a super good boy. Tooth brush helped his fluff while we sat in front of the space heater until he was for the most part dry. Then I wiped the tub, put his marble back in it to see if we did any lasting damage. I was glad to see we did not. He rolled his happy roll and gave it a swipe.
Didn't get all the soot out however so i am really really hoping that licking it won't make him sick. He was oily black and awful. Now it is just faintly grey on his tail an paws. It would just not come off and we had scrubbed as long as his good nature could be tested.

Zoey has fleas and needs a bath...but we have 2 fosters in that bathroom AND one of them has ringworm....soooo no bath for Zoey until they are gone.

And I'm pretty sure Cadie still got ringworm. We just found it tonight, will be taking her to the dr first thing in the morning.

I have borax worked in really good in my carpet, put down and brushed with a stiff broom. i also have it under any rugs, under cushions you name it and I swear that is why I never have a flea problem. It works for us and has since I red about it some 30 years ago. Even if a flea is bought it, the larvae die. it's cheap, and as long as it is kept out of food sources (why the stiff brush) and water it doens't hurt anyone.

Monday morning is surgery time. I am already worried. He sounds raspy to me, his belly feels bloated..blah blah blah. I have never thought his breathing sounded raspy before. So I tell myself to shut up that they will check him out and make sure he is fine before they give him anesthesia. I don't know why I worry but I do.

Babies came last night, he seems to have a special relationship with them. Aiden has also "got it" how to play with Ressie and they are really connecting. I am glad for both.
Jen we can worry together. Victor had a hard time with his. Mary, I had a hard time with hers tho she did not. REssie has just recently developed a better digestive track. I just wish it wasnt' now. A few months maybe, but he is quickly maturing and it just can't wait any longer.
THey put in a new (used) furnace yesterday. It blew dust out of those vents that hasn't been disturbed in years I think. My sinuses are a mess and allergies off the chart. Probably why he sounded raspy yesterday. HE sounds better today. Victor's eyes are irritated by it too and have needed drops.

found this today and was most impressed. I know how much teh fosters loved our own version of the cardboard castle. It has become Sancho's most favorite hang out. So yeah, what a great idea for shelter cats and the fact that it can break down to a carry case is brilliant.
