I hope you get him back very soon. How frustrating that someone seems to be making it so difficult :( How douchey do you have to be to keep someone else's dog :(

Do you have any money for a reward? Maybe you could set up a GoFundMe account to raise money to offer as a reward.

Thank you for the idea. I had put aside money when I first got injured at work because I had the feeling they were going to fire me. Well they did and no one is hiring someone still under workers comp orders and with a useless left arm. I'm try to find a job from home I can work but it's tough going. I also sold my car to pay for the dog tracker to come out and I'm out nearly 2k out of pocket between that, the posters, the gas from driving around when I had a car, and all the flyers I've put up every where.

You absolutely do not have to donate. I know times are hard and ugly for a lot of people but any and everything will help me get him back and get back on my feet.

Thank you everyone for the support in my search for my very very special boy.

Awesome! Share it on FB and Instagram if you have one. Even if you find him before you raise enough money for a reward you could use the money to recoup what you've spent trying to find him. I hope he comes back to you soon.

He's not at the house we thought he was at. My mom spoke to the dad, and he was very straightforward that he'd seen Harrison and his kids had been feeding Harrison but they didn't bring him inside, and they look after his sister in laws two dogs, one of which is a Shepherd mix because she's going through chemo. He said he saw him about two days ago but hasn't seen him since then. Which matches with the neighbors story of having seen him two days ago leaving from the back of their house.

He doesn't know if his kids might have brought him in whole him and his wife were both gone, but he was more than willing to let my mom go inside if she wanted.

So now I'm at a loss again. :/

Why would they feed him and be able to maybe bring him in, and not do it and call you?! Especially if they know is he lost :/. So frustrating.

Does he have good recall? I'd be tempted to use a wildlife camera trap to see if it's really him. Not sure what would be the best place to buy one.

If you do think someone is keeping your dog, don't forget that there's a small possibility that whomever did this could be watching this very thread.

Harrison is home!!!! I got a call today around twelve thirty and they said they had my dog. He was in the next town over more than ten miles away. It was very strange, but here's what I posted on Facebook

So yesterday when mom talked to the guy who's house she was sure she heard him barking in and they wouldn't come to the door, she had a conversation with the dad and was very forceful with him about Harrisons value as a SDiT, and he said some stuff to her and that he'd look for the dog, blah blah blah. Well the next day I get a phone call that he was a town over. More than ten miles away, and the people gave me one story and my mom who picked him up another story. It was all very strange and suspicious, but really all I care about is that he's home.
