This morning I woke up and I usually say hi to my dogs every morning and so I was like, Hello, Boys! And Sam! So, I get up and run my shower. I am in the middle of my shower when I heard growling and yelping and so I run out of the shower, grab a towel and I see Harley holding onto Dakota's neck with his mouth and then I was like, HARLEY, NO! And so then Sam notices whats going on and she gives a big yelp and literally steps all over Harley and starts licking Dakota. I get some clothes on and drive Dakota to the vet and the vet said that Dakota and Harley are just having some territorial issues (like who is alpha male) and Harley feels left out of 'the pack' with 2 other dogs in the family. But, Dakota is fine and the vet said that Sam is obviously the Alpha female and she is keeping them in line while I wasn't home based on what she did. I need to go see a trainer to help Harley and Dakota see that they are on EQUAL status within 'the pack'. When I got home from work, Dakota and Harley were both sprawled out on my bed with Sam on my pillows (Thanks, Sam, I'm gonna enjoy sleeping on those tonight.) I'm wondering if I should still go see a trainer, because they can be really expensive.
