I'm on the way to the vet with Corvus. I don't know what's wrong, but he's vomiting, and wouldn't eat breakfast. I will share any news when I get home. Please pray it's nothing serious. :(

Well, they don't think it's anything serious, just a bug. His temp was fine, his color was fine, he wasn't dehydrated. They gave him a shot and sent us home with some meds and we are to keep an eye on him and if no improvement by tomorrow, we'll go back and take it a step further.

Here's hoping he's all better by tomorrow.

*whew* Hope that's all it was! Maybe he ate a stinkbug or something . . .
We think he might have eaten a mushroom in the yard. We suddenly have them everwhere since the rain and humidity has been so frequent. I try to make sure his exercise area is free from anything he can get into trouble with, but I must have missed one.

The other thing that worried me so much is that Hoover boy will inhale anything. I came home the other day and one of the toys was destuffed and I was petrified of an obstruction, but the vet really didn't think that was a concern right now. Plus his poops are nice and fluffy so I'm pretty sure he's passing it well.

Poor little goober is just laying on the kitchen floor keeping his belly cool.

He did crack me up earlier though. He usually tries to intimidate the vets by giving them the stink eye...but today he was an angel, so I knew he didn't feel well. But on the way home, he must have regretted being so nice because he snarled at every car that stopped beside us at a stoplight, which he has never done before. He'll bark at people that approach the van, but he could usually care less about people minding their own business in their own vehicles. Such an ornery little cuss!

Hmm. Maybe he juet felt neglected lately, so decided to be a little sick to regain the doting and extra attention he deems appropriate. ;) I swear, sometimes that seems to be the ONLY rhyme or reason behind some doggie illnesses.
