I got some jojoba oil for skin moisturizing/OCM use and noticed that it is listed as a possible hair conditioner on the label. I tried it yesterday. My hair is so greasy it looks wet. >.<

You should probably just put a little dab on your palm and rub between your hands, then apply to just the ends of your hair. That's what I do with any oil I used for my hair. If you use too much it'll be really greasy for sure lol! I hate when that happens! My sister did the same thing when we started using coconut oil.

I have huge problems with frizz when the humidity is high (which is all the time here in the summer :p) so oftentimes I have to use gel (mousse & any kind of hair spray makes my hair über sticky & gross >_<). Right now I am using some stuff from garnier fruitis that is supposed to be naturally derived ... IS there a natural producers either manufactured or otherwise that is good at combatting frizz without leaving so much buildup & / or damaging hair?

The jojoba oil was super awesome on frizz, I have to say. Maybe a small dab would avoid the greasiness? I used about two quarter-sized amounts, but I bet a single one might still work.

Tons of pictures of my fat (and progressively less fat) face, I didnt feel like editing them to only show my hair.

I have always used the same henna (Rajasthani Twilight from Mehandi) and usually henna about once a month, give or take a week or two depending on how I'm feeling. I have extremely thin hair so when my blonde roots show and I can see my scalp, I tend to re-henna.

Pre-henna. Super bleached blonde.

Henna hair. Shortly after my first application:

After about 6-7 applications.

And now, after about 12 applications.

Today I lathered it in my hands, applied only to the top of my head/scalp, and rinsed immediately. I then repeated that process once more. Then I applied a pea sized dot of loreal total repair 5 conditioner to the ends because they were getting BAD from using the abs on them for the past 3 or 4 days. Then I got out of the shower, and brushed through my hair. It's feeling a LOT better than it has (less sticky and filmy at the top, and waaay softer at the bottom). I'm hoping this routine will stick? I'll have to see how it dries...
That's basically what I do, except I only do that once, and I don't use conditioner or anything else. I also do run the suds through the length of my hair and kind of scrub my scalp with the tips of my fingers.

The shampoo isn't left in my hair for more than maybe 30 seconds while I'm "scrubbing".

I also wash my hair about every 4-5 days. It's so soft from the ABS I can't imagine washing it more would do damage, but I'm not sure if that's a factor. I have washed it more frequently (like every other day) if I'm doing things to get it dirty, and it hasn't caused a problem, but you might want to be skipping days in between.

I LOVE that dark auburn color. I'm jealous of all you henna heads! I wish I could use henna and have it look good... but I have dark hair and a darker complexion (olive skin color). Red hair wouldn't look good on me at all.

You totally could henna, Jessie. It'd give your hair some crazy shine in the sunlight but henna won't lighten your hair at all. If it's super dark, it'll really just make it super shiny and the red will be more like a glitz under bright lights than an all-over color change.

I used the ABS in my hair last night and I don't think I got it quite right. My hair wasn't super dirty or greasy, and I did two lather and rinses. I don't think I rinsed it well. I conditioned my ends and kept the ABS off of them.

My hair felt kind of weird honestly. But I'm still willing to tweak it and see if it works for me. It did feel good on my skin and I washed my body with it this morning. It stood up to a 12 hour workday in and out of the heat with no issues. I didn't miss my old scented soap at all.

I'm hopeful it will do great things for my skin and possibly my hair.

That's so weird, I noticed ZERO difference in my skin (except the pores on my face do feel tighter), but my hair felt so great after the first time I washed it.

I'm wondering if it has to do with hair texture? My hair is somehow straight/wavy/curly all at the same time. Well, it dries with a loose curl, but if I brush it out damp it goes pretty much dead straight, and if I brush it out dry it gets wavy. It's also SUPER thick.

I'm wondering if it won't work as well for people with fine/straight or thinner hair? :(

My hair is basically how you described yours. It's not as super thick as it used to be but it's still thick and the ends are pretty damaged from bleaching them a while back, but other than that it's basically the way you described your hair. But mine is curly underneath, and straighter/wavy-er on top (but I always brush it out so I think it would be curlier if I didn't).

Maybe yours is a different kind? Who did you say you got it from?

ETA: Also my hair gets really tangly when I use it. :(

Totally read a review saying you can use ABS to quickly and painlessly remove eye makeup. ......never again. Feels like I poured acid into my eyes like 15 minutes later. Ow.

Ok call me stupid ... But what is "ABS"? :p

My hair is semi-thick but I usually Try to use stuff made for fine/thin hair because its lighter & doesn't weigh my hair down or leave as much residue

Also is it normal to break out a little when starting a new face washing routine? Been using the ABS daily and I'm breaking out (not as bad as my sister did when she tried OCM, she's still trying to get rid of it :() and I'm wondering if its a good or bad sign.
