I don't mind what I do. It's fine. I wish is was a little more 9-5 and a little less, 'whenever the customer gets crazy we have to be around to support' and I don't particularly like the company I work for. Though I'm working to help people understand that my teams works M-F 7a-8p. If they need something outside of that, their team should handle.

My team is kind of the black sheep of the organization. We are still fairly new, but get stuck with the crap other people don't want to deal with, are expected to have more knowledge than anyone else in the organization, and yet the company refuses to hire my people on and pay them a good wage.

In addition to that, our biggest client is going through some changes, so all of their employees that we talk to are stressed, over worked, and can just be unpleasant to deal with. They expect miracles; sometimes we can do it and they are unappreciative. Other times we can't, and they seem to believe that it is our fault that they failed at doing their job properly.

I love the things I do. Receptionist work pays well and is very flexible - plus I get to bring my dogs to work with me.

Training is the best, I absolutely love it and will probably always do it - on my own and for clubs.

Making collars is kind of awesome - I love it, love owning my own business and working for myself, and I WILL do this forever - hopefully full-time soon and as a stay at home mom in the future.

I currently am working at a dog grooming salon / daycare. Only because I said I'd stay until they found a replacement, as I quit about 3 weeks ago. Our daycare isn't really so much work, as the dog's get to run around the salon and all we do for the most part is take them outside to potty every three hours, but upon getting the job have found it to be extremely stressful as a bather / grooming assistant. My co-workers are great, but I can't deal with the job anymore. I'm stressed, exhausted, bloodied, and bruised every day and I just want something more calm and enjoyable for me as a job.

I enjoy job as a vet tech. I enjoy the cases, I enjoy the animals, and out importantly I enjoy interacting with clients about their animals. After working in a kennel for so long, being able to have weekends off and not have to work major holidays is amazing.

The clinic I was just hired on to is nice, but I do miss my old clinic. I miss my coworkers, miss my vets, miss our protocols, and miss working at such a fast paced, up to date clinic. When I went home over Easter I stopped in to say hi and...I just missed it.

The other job I had working as a bather was enjoyable, too. I liked working at multiple own pace (fast) and accomplishing things. If the pay was better, I wouldn't mind working at a salon again.

What are you two doing?

I actually love my job. I am old enough now that I can let (most of) the petty, "I work with all women" backstabbing, gossiping crap go. The job itself is pretty awesome. My hours are pretty good, hopefully going to be getting even better, and the benefits are great. However, the salary is TERRIBLE.
I will be in some sort of conservation biology with a concentration in wetlands and hopefully waterfowl populations, possibly some trail management. If we move out west again, I will build on my education for rangeland and grazing control.

My degrees will be in Biology and Environmental Sustainability, minor in Chem.

I don't hate my job, but I don't love it either. I work as a dental receptionist at an incredibly busy dental office and some days it feels like organized chaos. Just too much going on and not enough time in a work day to finish doing what I want to get done. Clients can be super difficult to deal with also. They want their insurance to dictate everything and think we should know everything about their individual plans and don't want to pay a cent for anything. Very frustrating and they can be very rude. I am good at handling such situations, but it is still stressful, and every day I am beyond mentally exhausted by mid afternoon. I also loathe working Saturdays from September to May. I miss out on so much. And it is really far from home. The cummute is about an hour, sometimes more, there and back home. But, it is five days a week, pays decently with lots of room for increase, and I currently work day times only now and no more evenings for a while and hopefully forever.

I hope I have a job some day that I genuinely enjoy. But I don't have the slightest idea of what I really want to do and is realistic at the same time. I need something that pays well due to the cost of living and I miss working with dog people.

I don't necessarily "love" what I do, but as far as jobs/careers go, it includes pretty much everything I wanted! Great pay, benefits, hours... I have my own office, I like (most of) my coworkers, etc.

However, I'm about to start a job that I've wanted to do for the past 7 years and I think I'm going to LOVE it... being a stay at home mom :)

Do I love it, no. I'm never like, yay I get to go to work! And some days are just stressful as hell. For the moooost part though I enjoy my job, while I'm at work lol. I can't see myself doing anything else, at least.

She says vitamins with a short i and it's great.
But, that's how it's pronounced!

My job is strange.... It's very very demanding, and very important to people's lives. I hold a lot of responsibility. I love it and loathe it equally.... I'd rather NOT be doing it, but I don't know what else I would do either... And it's not boring. And I like the fact I get out the office and manage my own time how I want.

We have just restructured the authority, so I have a new manager, new team and new job description (I've done it before, and was glad to see the back of it!). Well, same job, just working with the full spectrum of families not just kids in care. I am not looking forward it at all. It's more late nights, emergencies, horrid excuses for parents. I will leave my job if it gets too much. My health and sanity is worth more than my pay cheque :)

Haha, that's how I feel. I could never imagine waking up and being excited about going to work, but I feel that's how I'd be with any job.

When I'm at home, I want to concentrate on writing... I came really close to getting a novel I wrote published a couple of years ago (and only had submitted it to 3 publishers), and I'd like to rework it and try again. I've wanted to be a writer since I was a little kid and it's something I love to do. I need to make it my goal to write X number of pages a day when I'm home.

Yes! Training dogs is what I've wanted to do since I was super young. Being in the public eye constantly is taking some getting used to, but I don't hate it either. I loved teaching classes, but I was definitely getting burnt out with how much I was working.

I like it okay. I mean, it's not something I wake up happy for. But I love my residents (even the ones that other people don't like a whole lot). I don't work many hours, don't get paid more than $300 most (biweekly) pay checks (I usually get around $200), and the cleaning up is gross sometimes, but it's not bad.

Some of my coworkers are nice, some aren't, that part's not a big deal to me though. The suckiest part is when people pass away. Especially the ones that have been there since I started.

Overall, I like my job. I don't want to have to leave unless it's absolutely impossible to ever get there, because of the residents.

I really do love my job(s), but sometimes I wish things were different. Teaching lessons is fun but I'd rather play more. Hopefully as my business grows in terms of reaching clients I will get more gigs and be able to teach less. Dog training is awesome, but I wish I had more hours. We have a ridiculous amount of work to get done in such a short period of time every day, and I'm honestly starting to get burnt out. But we are a nonprofit organization there's only so much that can be done in terms of my getting more hours. I get spoiled getting to go work dogs on my own most days versus teaching training classes. I really enjoy both, but it's sometimes easier to just be able to work something with a dog on my own versus teaching the owner :p

I originally fell into the healthcare industry, but I enjoy my job. I always wanted to help people, but what I do is kind of the opposite. I mean, in a way, I guess I do? I edit other people's work, and read through rules and regulations. Lots of reading, lots of writing, which is right up my alley.

There are some days, though, that I am so overwhelmed because of coworkers and then there are the people that I read their letters and it just makes me cry and I can't wait to go home for the day.

I forgot that my part-time dog is dog training, and yes, I DO love that. I love making a difference in people's lives and I love improving their relationships with their dogs. If I could do that full-time I would be thrilled. It can be exhausting but it's a good exhausting. I had nights where I'd leave the radio station, drive to the training building, and teach three hour-long training classes... at the end of the night I'd be beat, but smiling and with my heart full. I feel like that's what I was meant to do with my life. But not everybody is so lucky to be able to do what they were meant to do.

Well I have 2 jobs I suppose.

Preschool teachers assistant... I enjoy the job mostly because I can bring Hannah so it works for
My life. Lately though it's become an issue to have Hannah there with the current teacher although it has started
To improve but the clock is ticking. Not bringing hannah at least some
Of the time
Is NOT an option and that was a stipulation when I was hired.

Other job obviously is stay at home mom/teacher and I
Love it. It's what I was made to do. I never would have imagined it in my youth but I was made
For this and it is amazing
