Kinda, on the last pictures.

Frankly, I find lots of those mutts adorable... I totally love australian labradoodles... and the labrador/border collie mixes too :D But I just hate those fancy names...

The first Chion looks kind of like a pokemon to me. It's cute though!

(I'll stick to my paps, though)
Oh that one is CUTE! Kinda like a Pokemon ya I agree.
But I can't stand how each one looks entirely different! And people want to call these a breed?

That Sheltie/Poodle mix is one ugly doggie! And I LOVE Shelties and I like poodles a little too, but a curly haired Sheltie? And he looks fat too.

Check out Sandy the Sheltie/Poodle mix. I don't understand why he is cut that way. He looks like a Schnauzer.

This is AWFUL.

I didn't see any Pug/Westie. But I saw the Afghan/Border and it's awful.

I hope you aren't enjying this :(

Actually, what I don't enjoy is when people purposely breed mixes for money and label them designer breeds etc. Seeing what different mixes look like I do find interesting and somewhat enjoyable, in the same way I like seeing different mixes in person. I will never promote the purposeful breeding of mixed breeds, but I will always like seeing what different mixes can look like.

That Bogle (Boxer/Beagle) looks nothing like either one. If I saw that at the shelter, I would call it a Pit mix.

Oooohh, ok. So, these dogs on that site aren't actually BRED like that intentionally for money? They just happen to be mixes people own???
Or is it a fad?

You can send in pics of your dog to any breed on the site, real or designer, especially if it's lacking pictures. So some may be rescues in the designer mutt section. A lot were likely paid for from sleazy breeders, but the new pet parent is showing off their baby.

When you think about it every breed we know nowdays are really a designer dog. None are the original dog. Each was made up of other breeds or types. Each was made by man for a certain purpose. Each were at some time just a thought or plan in some persons mind.

It's official, there are no longer any mutts. They are all "designer dogs". Some are cute looking but I hope to god many of them came out of a shelter at some point and someone just wanted to post pictures.

I find it horribly unfunny  . Next to each hideously ridiculous name, e.g. bogle, cav-a-poo *puke*... there is a link to a breeder for each of the 'breeds'. What a joke... not.
